About Me
We are a warm and welcoming family of three based in Cambridge: mama, papa, and our lively 4-year-old daughter. Ours is a multilingual household where English, Russian, Ukrainian and Dutch are part of everyday life. Both parents work full time, with mama working remotely from home. We follow Montessori principles in raising our daughter, encouraging her independence, curiosity, and creativity. She’s a talkative and imaginative little girl who loves football, dancing, singing, and getting stuck into arts and crafts. Flamenco music is her absolute favourite, you’ll often find her twirling around the living room to it!
My Requirements
We’re currently looking for a kind and reliable babysitter to provide after-school care at our home on weekdays, and potentially morning support on Sundays to help papa while mama is out rowing. Weekday care would involve spending time with our daughter while mama finishes her remote workday, ideally someone who enjoys creative play and can gently support her transition from school to home. Our daughter is naturally a bit shy at first, so we’re looking for someone who brings warmth, empathy and patience to help her feel comfortable and confident. While not essential, speaking Russian, Ukrainian or Dutch would be a lovely bonus to help her feel even more at ease in our multilingual home.
