Hello, I’m Noel – a passionate and approachable Mathematics tutor with a BSc in Mathematics currently pursuing MSc in Social Work and valuable tutoring experience both in the UK and abroad. I have supported students from Year 2 to Year 9 in building confidence, bridging learning gaps, and developing a genuine interest in mathematics through clear, supportive, and personalised lessons.
My aim is to remove the fear often associated with mathematics and replace it with curiosity and enjoyment. I deliver engaging sessions that relate mathematical concepts to real-life situations, helping students find meaning and relevance in what they learn. I believe that even a small shift in mindset can make a big difference – and I strive to leave every student with greater confidence, understanding, and, hopefully, a light smile by the end of each lesson.
My Experience
I have over a year of experience tutoring students in the UK and India, both in-person and online. I’ve taught students from Year 2 to GCSE level, focusing on skills, homework help, and exam preparation.
My Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and have over a year of experience teaching students from Year 2 to Year 9, both in the UK and India. I currently tutor online and in-person, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen foundations, avoid the sense of fear towards the subject and make mathematics enjoyable and to create an interest towards the subject.
