My Summary
About Me
I recently graduated with a BA in Architecture and am currently seeking temporary work while I explore career opportunities. I’ve always loved spending time with children, so part-time nannying feels like a natural and rewarding fit.
I’m bubbly, energetic, and more than happy to keep up with the endless enthusiasm children bring. My aim is to become a supportive, big-sister figure — someone your children feel comfortable with, while still respecting household rules. I’m also confident in gently reinforcing boundaries in a way that aligns with your parenting style.
I have a very flexible schedule and am available to start right away. I’d love the opportunity to support your family and create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for your children.
My Experience
Coming from a big family of five children, I’ve been caring for little ones for as long as I can remember. I have hands-on experience with children of all ages — from newborns to school-aged — and have worked in a variety of childcare settings.
For two years, I worked in a busy children’s play area where I led birthday parties, prepared meals and snacks, kept the space clean and safe, and played with children — including some with special needs. This role helped me develop patience, multitasking skills, and the ability to connect with kids in a fun and supportive environment.
More recently, I spent three months living in China, caring for two lovely boys aged 3 and 5. I worked with them for five hours each day, planning fun and educational activities such as bike rides, baking, and crafts. I also gave them structured English lessons for one hour daily, which helped me develop creative ways to keep children engaged in learning.
In addition, I’ve volunteered with a local Brownie group, where I supported weekly sessions by helping with setup, cleanup, and guiding the girls through their activities. This included supporting children with additional needs and ensuring all the girls felt included and happy.
My Qualifications
I have food hygiene and safety certificates, basic first aid training and several DBS and police background checks.
