My Experience

My experience includes being a nanny for 5 years. I have worked with different families building that relationship to be part of the family!
I Developed and implemented age-appropriate activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play with all the children in my care. We did days out to Legoland, Chessington and Wellington country park eg. I transported the children to their classes. We went to different classes such a messy play, outdoor, soft play. I was able to do some cooking and make nutritious meals for the children including batch cooking. I also put together sleep routine for the children so they were able to have fun but also have that nap in-between! I also did the bath time and bed time routine when needed. The ages included babies, toddlers and also preschoolers. I have also looked after more than one child this also includes twins.

I also have experience of house keeping such as; making the beds, washing for the family, ironing, cleaning the sides, hoovering, putting the bins out and emptying and putting in dishes for the dishwasher. I also organised the play room with all the toys. I also ran some errands such as; dog walking, post office trips, and keeping up to date with the children’s classes and payments. I also administered first aid when needed for the children such as medicine, or when falling over and hurting themselves.

I have also worked at a nursery full time. This included working with different ages from baby room, all the way up to pre school room. This includes following the EYFS planning fun and educational activities for the children. Following routines, care plans and building a relationship with the staff to work with and also the families of the children.

I used to work at an After school club, from ages raging from reception - year 6. Taking them to and from school. When coming back to the centre, making some snacks and playing with them, helping with homework.

I am level 3 Qualified
I am first aid trained.
I am on the update system for my DBS
