We’re a friendly, working family with a little boy (age 4), baby girl (age 13 months), and a cat based in New Malden. I’m Liz, I work in charity marketing, and my husband is a doctor. We’re looking for a kind, responsive, professional nanny to be part of the family and take care of our children. This is a fixed term position for initially a year, with the option for up to two (full time) six month extensions thereafter, and likely part-time options after that.
We live in a house with a garden about 15 mins walk from New Malden station; there is also free on-street parking available (no permit required). I work from home on Mondays and Fridays but otherwise both of us will be at work during the week. We’re a short walk from New Malden High Street and an easy bus ride into Kingston. New Malden station also has regular trains running to Waterloo and Wimbledon.
My Requirements
Our little boy will be starting school in September 2025. During school term-time, we’re looking for someone who can drop off/pick up our son from school, take care of our daughter during the day, and care for both children after school. During school holidays, both children will need looking after during the day.
Role summary
* Full-time live out nanny
* Hours (potentially some flexibility): Mondays & Fridays, 8am-4pm; Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8am-2pm; Thursdays 8am-6.30pm
* Location: New Malden
* Starting: September 2025 (potentially sooner)
* Holidays: 22 days per year, plus bank holidays
* Salary: £30k+ (potentially more for the right candidate)
* Duties: standard nannying tasks including simple meal prep, school run, activities/play dates and generally keeping our children engaged and happy
