About Me
We’re looking for a warm, dependable, and experienced nanny to care for our son two days a week – Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 5pm – starting in late August when he turns one.
He’ll be attending nursery Monday to Wednesday, but we feel that the end of the week would be better suited to a quieter, more consistent home-based routine. We’d love to find someone who can provide a gentle and attentive environment where he feels secure and supported.
We’re hoping to work with someone who truly enjoys engaging with young children and understands the importance of emotional development in the early years. If you have experience encouraging curiosity through play, supporting early communication, and creating calm, nurturing days, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re also open to a nanny share arrangement if the right fit comes along
My Requirements
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing and feeding meals and snacks
• Changing nappies and supporting nap routines
• Keeping to a consistent daily rhythm
• Engaging in age-appropriate play and sensory activities
• Supporting early communication and language through songs, stories, and interaction
We’ll both be working from home during the day, so it’s important that you’re comfortable taking the lead with minimal direction, while also being respectful of a shared space. A collaborative, open approach is really important to us, and we’d love to work with someone who communicates clearly and feels like part of the family.
