My Summary
Early Years Nursery Practitioner/ Early Years Nanny
About Me
Hello dear parents, I am a nursery practitioner in Kingston with experience in special needs.
I moved to London six years ago and I am a bilingual speaker—fluent in English and a native Italian speaker. I have been working with children since 2018 and truly enjoy engaging with them through tailored activities, both indoors and outdoors, based on their interests and developmental needs. I am highly adaptable and place a strong focus on supporting the social and emotional development of children, especially those under the age of six. I have my full UK driving licenze and my own car, i would be happy to drive in case the family needs. I am also a very good pasta baker but I also love to cook any kind of meal especially healthy food for children. I am currently still studying at the university of Wales St Trinity David ( London campus). Perhaps l would be more than happy to work with special need children . Ready to share all my potential with you. Please read my full experience here below :)
My Experience
My experience with special needs began in Italy, where I worked as a live-in nanny for an 8-year-old autistic boy. I supported his journey toward greater independence using ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques and collaborated closely with his parents, a special education center, and specialists such as speech therapists. My responsibilities included all aspects of his daily care, from transportation to school and therapy to implementing routines that supported his development.
In the UK, I continued this path by working as a one-to-one support assistant in a primary school, where I was the key person for several children with diverse special educational needs.
While I have valuable experience with school-aged children, the majority of my background is in early years education (ages 0–5), particularly in the preschool class. I began in a baby room setting but have since focused on preschool-aged children, designing engaging indoor and outdoor activities tailored to their developmental stage. I am dynamic, hands-on, and always seeking creative ways to keep children motivated and involved—especially during times when outdoor play isn't possible.
My time in both schools and nurseries has strengthened my confidence and skills as an early years practitioner. I’m open to any opportunity that allows me to support and nurture young children, and I consider it a true privilege to be part of their journey—and to support their families along the way.
My Qualifications
Level 4 diploma in Higher education skills in Health and Social Care. I am currently studying for my Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, with the goal of continuing my education until I achieve a Master's degree in Early years Education and Social Care.
