About Me
My husband & I are looking for a part time nanny based in Essex to care for our 2 and a half year old daughter within our home whilst we work from home 2 days a week. If all goes well this will be required for at least one year. We are a warm and caring family. We value open communication, kindness, and a child-centered approach to care. Our daughter has oodles of energy, she is very caring, kind and loves interacting with people. She has a very creative side, loves to draw, paint, dress up, sing & dance. Someone who also enjoys doing these types of activities with children is important for us.
My Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive, loving care for our daughter
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate educational, creative play activities
• Support developmental milestones (language, motor skills, etc.)
• Prepare and serve healthy meals/snacks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Willingness to do light housekeeping, washing clothes, cleaning bottles, tidying up toys, cooking, keeping kitchen clean etc
Has prior experience caring for toddlers (ideally 2+ years)
• CPR and paediatric first aid certified
• Proof of ID
- Enhanced DBS required
- Registration with Ofsted as a nanny or happy to be registered
• References available
• Reliable, punctual, and organised
• Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification (such as CACHE in the UK) is preferred and proof of qualification/s
• Non-smoker
