My Experience
I have spent much of my life working with children in various capacities, gaining extensive experience through both paid and voluntary roles. My background includes volunteering at a children’s centre, pre-schools, holiday clubs, and in youth work. I have also worked with children in care, supported activities at the RDA (Riding for the Disabled), and provided childcare as a babysitter and nanny for families, including my own cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Currently, I volunteer with Beavers (Scouts) and the Army Cadets, further broadening my experience with different age groups and needs. I hold a babysitting qualification and Common Skills and Knowledge certification. I have a certified in both Level 3 Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work, ensuring full first aid coverage.
Looking ahead, I plan to register with OFSTED as a Nanny, further formalising my commitment to providing high-quality care for children.
My Qualifications
Qualified babysitter with Level 2 Common Skills and Knowledge certification, soon to be certified in Level 3 Paediatric First Aid and Emergency First Aid at Work. I have also completed training in Mental Health Awareness for Children and Young People and Safe Sleep for Babies. I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and am currently working towards OFSTED registration as a nanny, demonstrating my strong commitment to providing safe, high-quality childcare. Additionally, I carry babysitting insurance, ensuring peace of mind and safety at all times.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I usually charge £10 an hour, with an extra £0.50 per additional child (twins are counted as one). If you’d like help with things like housework or laundry, the rate is £11 an hour.
These are just my basic rates, but I’m happy to work out a plan that suits you best. For example, during half-term or if you need more of a nanny-style service rather than babysitting, the rate would be around £12 an hour.
