Hello! My name is Emily and I am 25 years old. I have recently moved back to the UK after living in America for 20 years! I have a degree in Psychology and Child Development. I am fun, responsible, bubbly, and open-minded. I have a worldly background, from being born in London to growing up across America. I am artistic and love learning new skills. Over the past few years, I have taken an interest in exercise, including walking and all types of pilates. I love to take care of myself by eating clean and trying new recipes. I am looking to work as a full-time, live-in nanny if possible since I have just moved back and am just staying with family as of now. I am also currently based in Surrey!
My Experience
I have years of experience in child care. From the age of 18, I have been working at different preschools and also working one-on-one with families. In New York, I worked in a 3K classroom, creating lesson plans and tracking children's development. I also worked as a substitute teacher from preschool to high school, teaching all different subjects. I love children and watching them grow and become little humans, and it is rewarding to be a part of that growth. Other experience I have is babysitting children up to 12, including infants. I am well-versed in developmental activities as well as bedtime, nappies, etc. All stages of development are important, so I am always thinking of ways for children to expand their social, emotional, language, and physical development, and so on.
My Qualifications
I have my first aid/CPR qualification, but I need to redo the course online because it will expire soon. I have my degree and other experiences, adding to my qualifications for this position. I can send my CV for more details if interested.
