About Me
I’m a caring, responsible, and reliable person with experience looking after children in a variety of informal settings. I’ve supported young people at community events, helped with activities at church gatherings, and provided childcare for families. My Experience
I have experience caring for children aged 1 to 10 and am also comfortable looking after children of other age groups. My babysitting experience has strengthened my ability to be attentive, to listen carefully to children, and to respond with empathy regardless of their age. I am confident in caring for more than one child at a time, ensuring that each receives the attention and care they need.
In my previous childminding roles, I ensured that I followed all instructions from parents regarding meals, naps, and screen time. I also enjoyed creating fun and engaging activities such as: colouring, reading, singing and dancing, and other interactive games.
Additionally, my experience as a waitress helped me develop strong multitasking skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and close attention to hygiene. Serving as a student society leader at the University further improved my communication skills and my ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. I believe these skills are highly transferable to babysitting and childminding, enabling me to provide both quality and compassionate care for children while giving parents peace of mind.
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) Architecture from the University of Portsmouth
Basic DBS Check
Undertook a classroom-based training session on the following with WinTrust Healthcare in collaboration with ELGee Training and obtained a certificate for:
Manual Handling (Theory/Practical)
Basic First Aid- CPR
Health & Safety including Infection Control, Food Hygiene
My Availability
I am available for the whole day (mornings, afternoon and evenings) from Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning until 3pm.
