About Me
Highly passionate childcare professional with a variety of experience, looking for a part time childcare role to go alongside my Masters studies in Speech and Language Therapy, with the goal of becoming a speech and language therapist for children in the future. I love to be creative and think of new ways to support babies and young children as they explore the world around them and to develop and learn across all areas. I really enjoy being out in nature, doing lots of crafts and cooking. I believe I have strong natural attributes that have served me well in childcare, such as patience, empathy, and adaptability. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue working with children.
I have extensive experience in nursery and school settings for over three years. I find supporting children highly rewarding. I additionally have experience working 1:1 with children with varying needs and of different ages, this has allowed me to grow and adapt to better my practice working with every individual and making sure everyone is included and given the same opportunities. I have strong abilities in being flexible and thoughtful in my approaches so that I am able to cater to the individual. Overall, I have good communication skills, I’m very reliable, and I am very hard working.
