About Me
My name is Keighley Bowler, I am 20 years old. I have been a teaching assistant in a primary school for 5 years in a EYFS classroom, and have my DBS check and first aid training. I have lots of experience with children and have formed relationships to know how to meet individual needs. Supporting these children learning through play, helping with daily routines and encouraging positive behaviour. I have great communication skills and I enjoy creating fun, age appropriate activities that engage children and supporting their growth and wellbeing. I would bring this same nurturing, loyal and trustworthy care to your families as I did to the children and families I supported in school.
My Experience
Being a EFYS Teaching Assistant has been the most rewarding experience in my career. Supporting the children at the very start of their learning journey has shown me a deep understanding of the importance of early education and the role it has in shaping the children. Each day brought something new, I supported the children through play based activities, exploration, writing, numbers. The role has developed my patience, adaptability and creativity. No child is the same and I have learnt how to suit individual needs. Most importantly, I know the value of building strong, positive relationships. Working closely with the teachers, parents and other staff has shown me the importance of teamwork in creating a safe environment for the children. This is what makes the role so meaningful.
My Qualifications
In terms of qualifications, I hold a level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have worked in a primary school for the last 5 years! I also achieved GCSES including English, Maths, Media, Sports science, and Food. These have supported my ability to work confidently in educational settings and provide high quality support for the children.
Alongside my childcare qualifications, I hold a GCSE in Food, which has given me strong skills in nutrition, meal preparation and food safety. This allows me to prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children and involve them in fun, age appropriate cooking activities.
My Availability
My availability is flexible. My main availability is on weekdays during the day and/or evenings however I don’t work weekends.
I can occasionally offer weekend support when needed, provided I’m given advance notice so I can plan ahead :)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
My standard rate is £13-16 per hour, depending on the hours and responsibilities. This reflects my childcare qualifications, hands on experience in early years and the high standard of care I provide.
