My Summary
About Me
I am a working qualified midwife with a heart to help and care for both families and their children. The plan is to reduce my midwife working hours in the new year with the intention to become more full time as a nanny/maternity nurse. The dream is to work for a family where we develop a good relationship between each other and your wonderful children!
In my spare time you will find me doing anything crafty! I sew, sing, write songs and love to paint! I also am an active person, and love swimming both at a pool or in lakes/sea and going on walks! I also drive so would be more than happy to take your children out and about to do activities like these!
My Experience
I am very experienced with new borns because of the nature of my job.
Skills:
Standard handling and routine care of a newborn
Making feeds safely
Bottle feeding/paced feeding
Newborn/child life support
Feed schedules
Signs of an unwell baby
I have experience caring for toddlers and younger children (age 2-6) with the summer camps I have been on and looking after friends kids.
I am a creative and fun individual with a deeply caring heart that adores children and all the joy that they bring. In any situation I’m in, if there is a baby or child I always gravitate to them as I just love to be around such fun and imaginative minds. Aswell seeing children develop and learn and have those moments of “oh I understand that now” is it’s the best! I am deeply nurturing and would take the opportunity and responsibility of caring for you children/child very seriously and would value it as an honour.
My Qualifications
Midwifery degree
Photography diploma
3 x Alevels (A* A B)
GCSE English A*
GSCE Maths Level 5 (c)
My Availability
Currently I do not have set midwifery shifts. So each week I’d offer different days. Currently looking for a family that doesn’t mind flexibility. However in the new year I plan to reduce my midwifery working hours, so I can pick up more nannying/childcare hours. This hopefully will give me more ability to commit to set days.
