About Me
Hello! My name is Alana, and I'm an American expat who has been living in London for over 12 years. My husband and I both work in the media, making news and television. We live in north London near Hampstead Heath, which we love for the close-knit community and friendly neighbours. We've just had our first child, a little girl born in April 2025. She's already happy and energetic, loves being sung to and exploring new textures and colours, especially on walks in the nearby Heath.
My Requirements
My husband and I will need childcare help from February 2026, when our daughter is 10 months old. We'd like someone who can look after her from 9am - 6:30pm, for four days a week. However, as my husband's work schedule often shifts days depending on the needs of his job, it would be ideal to have someone who is happy to contract for four days a week, but be willing to chop and change which four days we do. The days would be chosen about a month in advance, so no last minute changes unless in case of emergency.
We know another couple who lives less than a 5 minute walk from our home, who might want to do a nanny share with us. They have a daughter the same age as ours. It would be great to know if you'd be happy to do a nanny share as well.
