My Experience

I have hands-on experience caring for my own two children, who are now school age. This has given me a strong understanding of children’s needs at different stages of development, from toddler years through to school years.

Through daily routines I have become skilled in:

Organising meals and snacks with a focus on healthy eating

Creating fun, age-appropriate activities to support learning and creativity

Managing school runs, homework, and after-school routines

Teaching independence and responsibility in a nurturing way

Ensuring a safe, structured, and positive environment at home

While I do not hold formal childcare qualifications, I bring patience, empathy, and a practical knowledge of raising children, which I am excited to share in supporting another family.

Mother of two school-age children, with extensive hands-on childcare experience from newborn to primary years

Strong organisational and time management skills from a professional career in financial services

Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to creating a safe, caring environment

Willing to complete paediatric first aid training or other childcare courses if required

My Availability

Mornings and early afternoons until 4 pm. I am also available at the weekends

My Fees

• Babysitting from £25.00 per hour

My rates are £15 per hour, though I’m happy to discuss depending on hours and requirements.
