About Me
Hi I’m Miah! I’m a patient and loving experienced childcare worker and I am in my final year of teacher training. I have worked in a SEN setting for 6 years and have supported a wide range of young people from 4-18 years. I am also in my fourth year at uni studying primary education and have taught a variety of classes of all ages. I love animals and being outdoors and love arranging and setting up exciting and stimulating play and learning experiences!
My Experience
I have worked in a day centre and holiday club setting for children with disabilities for 6 years and absolutely my role. I am moving and handling, medication, first aid and epilepsy trained. I also have a qualification in child care and have experience in a nursery. I am in my fourth year of studying primary teaching and have taught a number of classes throughout a host of different primary schools. I have a strong knowledge of child development and understanding of key child development and learning theories. I also have prior experience of studying occupational therapy and have experience working in healthcare.

My Availability
I am available Wednesday to Friday during the day or in the evening. I am also open to discussing occasional weekend work. As I am a primary teaching student I do have placements throughout the year which mean I wouldn’t be available at points throughout the year whilst my school placements are ongoing.
