My Summary

My Experience

Alongside spending time with my cousin's children, I gained practical childcare experience before starting my university studies. I completed a seven-week internship in a kindergarten, as I was considering becoming a nursery nurse. During this placement, I supported the children through play, reading books together, exploring nature outdoors, and helping with snack preparation. I found it truly rewarding to see the world through the children’s eyes and to receive so much joy in return.

After completing my degree, I also worked for three months as a substitute teacher in a primary school. In addition, in my role as a secondary school teacher (ages 10+), I regularly work with children and young people – which was in fact the reason I chose this profession: because I enjoy working with children of all ages and supporting their development.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified secondary school teacher with a degree in English and Education. I bring strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a caring and empathetic personality. I am fluent in both German and English, and I am happy to complete additional childcare training such as a paediatric first aid course if required.

My Availability

I’m generally available on weekdays during the daytime, from mornings until afternoons. I would ideally like to work part-time for around 30 hours per week, but I’m flexible and also happy to consider full-time if needed.

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
