My Experience

I have over 25 years experience caring for all ages, including those with additional needs. As a mother myself i have raised my daughter who had ADHD, so i understand the importance of patience struture and emotional support. I have also worked at the David Lewis Centre supporting indivduals with severe and complex learning disabilties. That experience gave me in- depth knowledge of working with people who require a high level of care, and helped me develop strong communication skills, empathy and calm under pressure. I have been DBS checked in the past as i used to help backstage at my daughters dance shows at Dance At The Smithy with the kids at the rehearsals leading up to the shows, this was from the age of four to sixteen. I used to be the owner of a doggie daycare in Stockport called Dogz Club Limited, i ran this for six years, suprisingly this functions similarly to a nursery as looking after furbabies is just as challenging and rewarding as humans.
