About Me
My name is Amelia Williams and I've just recently finished sixth form and in the stage where I'm exploring different opportunities to gain experience. I've previously worked with children in both a primary school and holiday camp and i really enjoyed it so that's why I'm currently looking for work in childcare. At the same time i have long term plans and goals of working in the real estate industry and have been applying for apprenticeships to try and build experience in that field. But overall I’m keeping an open mind and making the most of every opportunity that helps me grow and build towards the future.
My Experience
When working at a primary school as a Breakfast and After School Club Assistant, I was responsible for looking after children aged 4 to 11. I worked around two hours each day, and my main duties included preparing snacks and light meals, supervising outdoor play, helping out with homework/reading and ensuring children were collected safely by their parents.
My Qualifications
I don't specifically have qualifications for childcare but i have a certificate which is the 'Certification of Keeping children safe in education 2024 and Safeguarding and child protection: the essentials 2024/25’ and additionally have two enhanced DBS certificates for two childcare related jobs
