About Me
Hello! :) I am a 26 year old graduate student, originally from the United States now living in north London. I attend the University of Westminster, going for a master's in music business management. I completed my undergraduate degree in film -- I have a deep love for music and the arts! I worked on feature film projects in Boston for two years before taking off to live and travel through Europe.
My class schedule is very condensed at the moment, only requiring me on campus twice a week. I am hoping to work part time with families on my days off. In my free time, I usually love to walk through Hampstead Heath, swim in the pond, play my guitar, go to shows with my friends and explore the city.
My Experience
For the past two years, before relocating to London, I have lived in Spain working as an au pair. I lived in the house with the family of five; Three children and both parents. At my time of arrival, the children were ages 10 and 12, and are now on their way to being full fledged teenagers! This experience was incredibly special, as I was able to spend each day with the kids, learning their own language and culture, as well as teaching them my own. In the past, I have also worked at a summer day camp with children of the same age. I do not have experience working with children under 10.
My Qualifications
I do not have any certified qualifications in first aid, etc. As I have lived in Spain, I am comfortable working with children and families who speak English as a second language.
My Availability
Through December, I am available Thursdays-Sundays. This may change from time to time, as weekend events related to my course may occur.
