About Me
My name is Michelle. I am a Ofsted Registered Childminder, I live with my husband Rob and we have 2 children Liam 36 and Alexis is 34. Alexis Co-Childminds with me. Alexis is married to Jason and they have 3 gorgeous children Albie, Eddie and Connie. Rob and Jason are our assistants. I have been doing childminder since June 2006, Alexis was my assistant for 14 years and she has just became registered at the end of June 2024.
My Experience
I have 19 years experience, Alexis over 15 years experience. We have had lots of children from different Ethnic backgrounds, which we have received training.
My Qualifications
First Aid Paediatric Certificate for Alexis, myself and assistants
Safeguarding Children
Full up to date DBS check for myself and assistants.
All up to date policies - risk assessments and contracts.

My Availability
My opening times:
Monday to Friday 7am-5pm
We provide 15 hours 2yr, 3yr and 4yr funding places. We also offer 30 hours for eligible 3 & 4 year old, also funding from 9 month olds. Which can be split with another setting. We will also spread funded hours through the holidays as well as term time.

My Fees

7am - 5pm Monday to Friday
We are a home from home childcare setting, providing a positive nurturing environment.
Child led/adult guided approach to learning and developing new and existing skills. Aiding the ever growing knowledge and development of our children providing fun activities and adventures both in and outdoors.
We offer government funded 15 hours for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. And offering funded 30 hours for 3 and 4 year olds, 30 hours funding for 9 month olds from September. Funded hours don't have to be used just in term times, but in school holidays as well. Which means you can spread hours over the year. You also can split the 30 hours over 2 different providers. Please contact for further information. We are happy to answer your questions and help with your concerns.
We all know the children and the children get to know each other and are all friends. Don't be nervous to ring me we both are very approachable and we will help with anything you need to know about childminding if we cant answer your question straight away we will get the answer.

We found Michelle and her amazing family team in early 2025 after searching for someone to accommodate our needs and schedules. CCCM are approachable, professional and their passion for their roles speak for themselves. Our baby has been so well cared for and they treat her as if she was one of their own. We never have any concerns about her care. CCCM are in constant communication and really work hard on fostering a positive working relationship with the children's families.
We trust all staff at CCCM with caring for our daughter. We know that she's thriving and hitting all her milestones; with consistent support and encouragement from everyone at CCCM.
Their facilities are always immaculate and been designed with the children's needs and wants at the forefront. Safe proofing and security are very important to everyone at CCCM, so safety gates and cameras are everywhere, which is wonderful to see. It is an ideal setting for the services and high standard of care they offer.
We bring our daughter a packed lunch every day she is there and staff are always excellent at communicating if she's enjoyed or disliked something.
There's nowhere else I'd recommend for childminding services. Our children are our most precious things and their care and safety is the most important thing. This is absolutely shared and supported by everyone at CCCM.

I can't thank Michelle and her family enough for looking after my son Archie. They're very kind and they really look after the kids so well. I highly recommend their service. If I will have another child I would not hesitate to choose them again.

I couldn’t recommend Michelle and her family more. My children have gone from sobbing at nursery to asking to go to Michelle’s even at the weekend. She is a fantastic extension of our family and my boys love her. The boys are happy, well cared for and are taught everything and beyond what children should be taught. She cares them for like her own and is so flexible with the childcare hours to ensure it fits to my family. Even down to cooking certain meals for my boys as they refuse to eat sandwiches etc. fantastic

My little girl has been with CheekieChops since she was 10 month old, she is now 2 year old and absolutely loves it!
Dropping her off was always a worry of mine before we started but she waves bye to me at the gate before we even get to the front door which is such a relief knowing how much she enjoys to be there and is comfortable with everyone and the environment she is in.
My little girl has learnt so much and comes home with drawings, painting or handmade gifts for me which I love!
Michelle is so flexible, approachable and caring and I couldn’t ask for anything more! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

CheekieChops have looked after both of my boys from 8 months and we have now been with them nearly 6 years!
I feel so reassured knowing my boys are there and they love being there too. They have provided some amazing experiences for them and they have also met some great friends who also attend. Michelle definitely makes life easier for working families and her flexibility and support goes above and beyond! Thank you!

I have used Michelle as my child's childminder for 2 years until my little one started nursery, lovely and friendly and my little one always came home with a happy face and pictures, would highly recommend.

Michelle and her team at CheekieChops welcomed both me and my son Henry (2 and a half) with open arms. During the 10 months he was there, they provided a lovely, homely environment for my son, so that I always felt happy leaving him in their care. My son was always eager to go in every morning, which really says it all! They encouraged him in many things such as eating, speech, creativity, writing and independence. Henry has came on leaps and bounds from being at CheekieChops and we will both miss Michelle and her team very much. Would definitely recommend to anyone, they are brilliant! Thanks Michelle!
