About Me
Hi I'm Eve, I live in Cornwall with my family and am currently on a gap year. Over the years I have done many things from drama clubs to arts & crafts, traveling to hobbies. I have experienced so much and been around young children for most of it, but this summer whilst working at camp was when I realised how much I loved caring for children and decided its what I want to do this year and maybe further into my future. Whilst I don’t hold formal qualifications in childcare, I have a lot of experience with it and related areas. I am a creative person and love everything from art to baking. My hobbies and creativity help me create a playful and engaging experiences that I hope would have lasting memories

Camp America
2025, 2026
I have just finished my first summer at Camp Robindel for girls. Whilst I was there I had two jobs camp counsellor and media team photographer. I mainly was looking after 9-10 years olds but I did help out with the younger campers age 4-7. Spending the summer looking after these girls and all the kids at camp was so much fun and so rewarding and gave me a new found love for childcare. I have also just been invited back for another summer.
Exchange Volunteering trip
2024
In 2024 I had the opportunity to go out to Sevilla for 2 weeks and work in a local nursery out there. This was an experience I never though I would have. I found it incredibly rewarding working in the nursery school teaching the older girls for the primary school English and learning all about how to look after toddlers and babies throughout the weeks. Experiencing the culture that Sevilla has through the children I was looking after was so fun and so educational.
Scout camp
2023-2024
I volunteered for a week in 2023 and 2024 working at a scout secondary school camp. There I was helping with outdoor crafts and organising activities for the kids, and with general care of then. This was a great opportunity to teach kids about the outdoors with all it has to offer and create new memories for then.
Babysitting
I stared babysitting around 16 and have continued it up until present. I have done work around my local area helping with evening, school pickups and day work. With this I have worked with children around the ages of 4-9. I have a big family and am the oldest cousin so over the years I have looked after all of my little cousins through all there ages and love it so much

while I don't hold formal qualifications in childcare i have significant experience in all ages and in different areas
