My Summary
About Me
Hello, I’m Rosie, a qualified primary teacher with over 13 years of experience working with children in the UK, USA, Spain and Myanmar. I’m passionate about creating calm, inclusive learning environments where every child feels seen, supported and capable.
I’ve worked with children from a wide range of backgrounds, including those with English as an additional language (EAL) and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I believe that every learner can thrive when teaching is adapted to their needs and interests, whether that’s through creative projects, real-world problem-solving, or gentle confidence-building activities.
As a former Primary Principal at an international school, I also led wellbeing and values-based learning initiatives, helping children build empathy, independence and self-awareness alongside strong academic skills. I understand how much emotional wellbeing and academic progress go hand-in-hand, and I bring that same nurturing, structured approach to my tutoring.
When I’m not teaching, I’m a mum myself and know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your child’s learning journey. I offer supportive, engaging lessons in all primary subjects, including English and maths, for primary and lower secondary-aged children, online or in person (Waterbeach and surrounding areas).
