About Me
Currently completing my Master’s in Child Development at UCL, I’ve worked with children aged 4–12 in both educational and developmental settings. I have experience supporting children with special needs, encouraging positive behavior, and helping them with daily routines and creative play. I can also cook basic meals and assist children with their homework and any other tasks they need help with. I also love coming up with activities to keep children entertained and occupied while also making it a learning experience.
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny before for a family with 2 children aged 3 and 6. I would help them with their morning routines and come up with activities to keep them engaged. I would also cook basic meals according to the preference of the children and get them to finish their food willingly. I used to read to them and even help the oldest child with his school work.
I also have experience working as a teaching assistant in a school for intellectually disabled children and I would be in charge of an entire class at a time and I learned to manage all of them. I would also come up with lesson plans for them and spend time with them doing activities and listening to stories they had to tell me. I would also help children calm down when they were having a tantrum or a hard time at school.
I have also been working as a personal tutor to young children for 4 years now. I tutor them in English, and we follow the Australian Syllabus. I come up with lesson plans, activities to make studying interesting, and get them to do their homework on time.
