About Me

I do pick ups from Mossneuk Primary or Nursery (walking distance):
Mondays (2 spaces)
Tuesdays (3 spaces)

I am a very hands-on mum (twelve year old) and auntie (eleven month old). Now that my son is older, I have started the process to become a registered childminder. I have PVG and a DBS check (completed 13 January 2026).

I am always keen to update my skills and knowledge. I have intermediate first aid and I will be doing paediatric first aid training in January 2026 I am a childcare.co.uk webinar regular!

I have been a Qualified dance teacher for thirteen years in East Kilbride (boys and girls aged two to sixteen, including ASN). Many of the children have been coming to my classes for years so I have built great relationships with them. It is amazing to see them grow in confidence and develop their skills!

I have a full clean driving license and my own transport (with brand new Isofix car seats). I am extremely dedicated, reliable and well organised.

I have volunteered for many nursery and school activities including helping on trips, teaching Spanish during culture week, assisting at discos, supervising the breakfast club, presenting to groups at careers week and teaching dance to the nursery children for several weeks to prepare for their end of year show.

I have Babysitter Public Liability Insurance.

My Experience

Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

School/nursery pick up £12 per child per day (includes a sandwich, fruit and a drink)

Daytimes rates (in babysitter's house)
£5 per hour.

Reliable, caring, experienced childcare

I have known this provider for over 10 years and have no hesitation entrusting my children to her care or recommending her to those looling for childcare. She is extremely reliable, caring and very safety conscious. Her wealth of experience with nursery and school age children is clear in the care that she delivers. I have also found that she tries to be as flexible as possible and is always quick to reply.

A wonderful support for our family

Joanne has provided excellent care for my children and has been a huge support to our family. She is caring, calm, and very attentive to the children’s individual needs. My children felt safe and happy with her, and I always felt reassured knowing they were well looked after. Joanne communicates clearly, is reliable, and genuinely cares about the families she works with. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for childcare
