About Me
I studied Art/History and Textile Design at Leeds University, then trained in Eastbourne in 1998-2000 at ECAT Eastbourne College of Arts & Technology, in childcare and worked as a supervisor at Kittens Nursery and Playscheme. I then retrained in 2009 as a secondary teacher *PGCE PCET at Huddersfield University. I am now a retired teacher and working with children who are non verbal, severely special need children 5 to 17 years part time in Ashford.
My Experience
I have a wealth of experience and skills i am able to impart, having worked in business in the City of London for 15 years before retraining to work with children. I have a sense of humour and incorporate imaginative play and wonder into my tutoring and time with children. I am able to build a rapport very quickly as I am genuinely interested in each child, and listen to what they tell me to build a picture of their preferences likes and dislikes. In my previous teaching I have taught Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, French, German as well as Art and creative subjects as I worked in the supply teaching sector for a number of years in Kent schools.

My Availability
I am available on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at the moment. I am available full time over the Christmas holidays from December 16th to January 1.
