My Summary
About Me
I am an experienced newborn night nanny with a strong background in supporting families during the early postnatal period. With professional training in infant care, I provide safe, calm, and consistent overnight support to help both babies and parents get the rest they need.
I have extensive experience with newborn routines and sleep shaping, including establishing healthy sleep habits, recognising early cues, and creating gentle, responsive night-time strategies that build confidence for long-term sleep success.
My work includes full infant wellbeing and care: feeding, winding, settling, nappy care, bathing, monitoring temperature, recognising signs of illness, and supporting babies with colic, reflux, and unsettled periods.
As a midwife by background, I also offer skilled breastfeeding support, from latch and positioning to overnight pumping routines and understanding feeding patterns. I am equally confident supporting formula feeding or mixed-feeding families.
Alongside infant care, I prioritise postnatal recovery and maternal wellbeing, offering emotional support, reassurance, and practical guidance. I have experience recognising and supporting parents experiencing postnatal depression or anxiety, ensuring they feel listened to, safe, and signposted to the right help when needed.
Above all, I bring a compassionate, non-judgemental approach to each family, tailoring care to your parenting style and helping you feel confident, rested, and supported in the early weeks and months with your baby.
My Experience
I bring over a decade of experience in caring for newborns and supporting families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. As a qualified midwife, I have an in-depth understanding of newborn physiology, feeding, sleep, and early development, and I use that knowledge to provide calm, evidence-based support as a night nanny.
I have worked with hundreds of newborns, including premature babies, twins, and infants with additional needs. My experience includes establishing gentle sleep routines, recognising tired cues, settling techniques, and supporting families with early sleep shaping in a way that is responsive and baby-led.
I am highly skilled in breastfeeding support, including latch, positioning, feeding patterns, expressing, and managing challenges such as tongue-tie, low supply, or pain. I also confidently support formula-feeding and mixed-feeding families. Overnight, I help parents get meaningful rest while ensuring baby is fed, winded, changed, settled and monitored throughout the night.
My work has also involved extensive postnatal care, from supporting recovery after birth to recognising postnatal depression, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. I take a compassionate, non-judgemental approach and am experienced in providing reassurance, practical help, and appropriate signposting when families need extra support.
Across all roles, my priority is always infant wellbeing and parental confidence. I create a calm, nurturing environment, respect each family’s choices, and tailor my care to what feels right for them. My goal is to help parents feel rested, supported, and empowered while giving their baby the safest, gentlest start.
