I have been a carer for my younger siblings since I was 12, which has helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility from a young age. My Experience
I have been a babysitter since I was 14, gaining extensive hands-on experience supporting children of different ages. I completed a TA enrichment programme at my school, helping with classwork, guiding activities, and learning effective behaviour-management techniques. Since January 2025, I have worked as a playworker at an after-school club, where I plan engaging activities, supervise play, and promote positive social skills. My role also involves completing accident forms accurately, providing basic first aid when needed, and passing important messages to parents and carers. Through these responsibilities, I have developed strong communication, organisation, and safeguarding skills while creating a safe, supportive environment for children.
