My Experience

I have extensive experience working with EYFS children, supporting their early learning, daily routines, and emotional development through nurturing, play-based approaches. Alongside this, I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant in SEN schools, giving me valuable experience supporting children with a wide range of additional needs, communication differences, and behavioural challenges. This background has strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to respond sensitively to each child’s individual needs. Whether guiding early learning, managing routines such as meal times and bedtime, or offering calm reassurance during transitions, I create a warm, safe, and engaging environment. These combined experiences make me well-suited to babysitting and childcare roles, where reliability, understanding, and professional early-years knowledge are essential.

My Qualifications

I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary Education, which has equipped me with strong pedagogical knowledge and practical classroom experience across the early years and primary age range. Alongside my teaching qualifications, I also hold an LLB Law undergraduate degree, giving me a strong foundation in critical thinking, safeguarding, professional responsibility, and clear communication. In addition, I am trained in Team Teach, enabling me to use safe, positive behaviour management strategies—particularly valuable when supporting children with additional needs or challenging behaviours. Together, these qualifications allow me to bring a well-rounded, knowledgeable, and responsible approach to both educational and childcare settings.
