About Me
Hi, I’m Olivia. I’m a qualified secondary school teacher with a genuine love for working with children and young people. I’m calm, friendly and approachable, and I really enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and helping them feel safe, supported and confident.
Through previous teaching, coaching and nanny/babysitting work, I’ve had lots of experience supporting children with a wide range of learning needs, helping with homework and tutoring, and creating routines that work for both children and families. I’m patient, reliable and organised, but also fun and engaging — I love planning activities that keep kids interested while still supporting their learning and wellbeing.
Whether I’m tutoring, nannying or babysitting, my priority is always to create a positive, relaxed environment where children feel happy and cared for and parents feel confident knowing their child is in safe hands.
My Experience
I am a qualified secondary school teacher with several years of experience working with children and young people across a wide range of ages and abilities. Through my teaching role, I have supported children with homework, tutoring, organisation and study skills, as well as their social and emotional development.
I have also worked as a nanny, supporting families with daily routines such as school pick-ups, meals, homework, bedtime routines and creating calm, structured home environments. I am reliable, organised and comfortable taking responsibility for children’s care while maintaining clear communication with parents and caregivers.
In addition, I have experience coaching dance and gymnastics for children of different ages. This has helped me develop strong skills in keeping children engaged, active and confident, while encouraging teamwork, discipline and self-expression in a fun and supportive way.
Across all of these roles, I bring a patient, caring and flexible approach and enjoy creating positive relationships with both children and families.
