My Summary

My Experience

For the duration of Year 12 and Year 13 I volunteered at Elizabeth Social House in Salisbury where I supported individuals with diverse physical, mental and emotional needs. I assisted with recreational engagement, promoted dignity, independence and well-being by building trusting relationships an following individualised care plans. I also collaborated with care staff to maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.

Furthermore I have also volunteered at St Peters Primary School in Salisbury where I aided year 6 students during their transition to secondary school by providing emotional reassurance and a safe space to express their worries. I also assisted with English and Maths work by reviewing assignments , offering constructive feedback, and guiding students towards improvement. Lastly, I helped build confidence and academic readiness through one-on-one and small group support, while maintaining a positive and encouraging environment.

Finally I also volunteered at Paddington Playstation in Tidworth where I cared and supported the development of young children in a safe, nurturing environment. In addition I assisted with feeding and engaged in age-appropriate educational and play activities. Furthermore I maintained a clean and organised space, followed safeguarding procedures and communicated regularly with parents and staff to support each child's well-being and progress
