About Me
I’m a warm and experienced primary teacher transitioning from the classroom to provide more personalised, one-to-one support for children and families. I offer nurturing nannying and engaging tutoring tailored to each child’s needs, helping them grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.
I love sharing my passion for reading, creativity and learning, as well as spending time outdoors—whether that’s nature walks, park visits or active play. I believe children thrive with a balance of structure, imagination and fresh air.
Alongside childcare, I’m happy to support with light housekeeping and preparing healthy, home-cooked meals to help family life run smoothly. Family is very important to me, and I truly value the trust it takes to welcome someone into your home. I’m dependable, patient and organised, and I aim to create a safe, calm and happy environment where children feel supported and valued.
My Experience
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with experience across EYFS and KS1, giving me a strong understanding of early childhood development and how young children learn best. I’m trained in phonics and early reading, and I love helping children build confidence in those important early skills through fun, engaging activities.
I also have experience in Forest School and enjoy incorporating outdoor learning and exploration into children’s routines whenever possible. Supporting children’s curiosity, independence and emotional wellbeing is always at the heart of what I do.
Safeguarding is something I take extremely seriously, and my professional background means I am well-trained in keeping children safe, supported and listened to.
In addition, I’m a qualified swim teacher and have worked with both children and babies, so I’m very confident around water and comfortable caring for little ones of all ages.
Above all, I aim to create a nurturing, happy environment where children feel secure, encouraged and free to be themselves.

My Availability
I am currently working full time in a nursery but am available for babysitting upon request, outside of my working hours.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
My fees are flexible and can be discussed depending on travel, hours required and the level of support your family needs.
