Hi, my name is Alisha! I‘m 20 years old and a student midwife at UoN. I‘ve grown up around kids and have always loved looking after them - they honestly teach you just as much as you teach them! I‘m kind, patient, and easygoing, and I really enjoy spending time with children and helping them feel safe, happy, and cared for! :)
My Experience
I‘ve been caring for children from a young age and for most of my life, starting with my younger siblings and now regularly looking after my two nieces (ages 4 and 2). I‘m comfortable with different ages, playtime, bedtime routines, and everyday childcare, and my midwifery studies have given me even more confidence when caring for little ones.
My Qualifications
- GCSEs including Childcare and Health & Social Care
- A Levels in Philosophy, Biology, and Chemistry
- Access to HE course in Midwifery
- Currently studying BSc Midwifery
-> My midwifery training includes First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and an up-to-date DBS check
My Availability
I‘m looking for work that fits around my studies. I‘m usually available evenings, weekends, and most Wednesdays - I‘m happy to help out with regular or one-off childcare!
