My son attended the Cheeky Chops home setting for just over a year (he moved to a closer location to our home / commute). We absolutely loved Cheeky Chops, the whole team have been great with him, but in particular, Lindsey, Chelsea and Georgia absolutely made his experience a special one.
He started with them just over a year old, and he did not settle at all well - even went on hunger strike!! but they were all so understanding, calm and patient with him, they also were great at providing me with assurance and comfort that everything was ok. We amended his hours to shorter days and he gradually built it up over time, within a couple of months he would be very excited to be going to nursery, and i think even forgot to say bye to us on more than one occasion! He is a very confident and chatty child, and this has most definitely been through the nurturing environment that they provided him.
I would also like to add, that the use of whattsapp messaging through the day with photos and updates, especially in those early months was so appreciated.
We were very sad to leave but unfortunately the hall used for the over 2s is just a bit too far from our house and commute, this was a very difficult decision to make.
