My Experience

I want to become a maths tutor because I genuinely enjoy teaching maths and helping students understand it. I take pride in explaining topics step by step and practicing with students to build their confidence, inspiring them to approach maths without fear. I understand that maths can be challenging for many learners, and I strive to simplify concepts to make them accessible.

I create a safe and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills. I have six months of experience working as an online maths teacher in a school setting, where I developed lesson plans, prepared engaging materials, and delivered one-on-one and small group support. I teach GCSE Maths (Foundation Tier) and Functional Skills Levels 1 and 2, and I have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) by adapting lessons to meet individual learning requirements and different learning styles.

My approach is flexible and student-centered, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to grow confident and succeed in maths.
