About Me
My name is Phoebe Thompson. Growing up I have always had a caring nature; from adopting kids in the soft play, to volunteering in nurseries and horse riding schools I have done it all! I currently work at Peterborough City Hospital caring for the elderly however I took it upon myself to receive full pediactric life saving training to prepare myself to move to childcare. I babysit in the community and charge what I do as I can cook, clean, do drop offs, live in, sleepovers, long stays for business trips, bedtimes, morning routines and all with a full DBS with the update service and over a year experience with critical illness and medication administration experience. I am a very outgoing person and can handle any emotional challenge. I have been told to be gifted with children and due to my young age I have it in me to do the drop offs and run around after your little one playing games all day. I can understand when it is wind down time and ultimately promote your In house values despite my own. I understand a massive concern around not bringing up your own children, which is why it is important to have communication so I can fully understand the knowledge; maybe religious or ethical, you would like to promote to your children. I will emulate your values and help you educate and reward and discipline however you see fit even when you’re not present. I appreciate all the hard work mothers do to reinforce their children and I wish to align with whatever values you have unless they are putting the child at risk!
My Experience
Do not let my age fool you, I can manage daily routines, help with homework after achieving (3 A levels and exceptional grades at GSCE). Although this does not define me, I take pride in these achievements and strive for perfection. I achieved these A levels along side receiving an unconditional offer to university, completion of multiple university online short courses and a care certificate all in the same few months. I am committed, passionate and proactive. There isn’t anything I cannot do, or afraid to learn!

Passed all GCSE’s with flying colours grade A’s and B’s (some C’s).

My Availability
I am willing to be full time and quit my current job as I am looking for a career change. My job is randomised hours so I cannot commit unless I do this. So this is not suitable for you if you are looking for a flexible nanny rather than a full time one! I would prefer the weekend off but I will be open to availability depending on your commitments for example a business trip which runs over the weekend isn’t an issue. But it is important for me to have a good work- life balance!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Nannying from £30.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £25 per hour for social hours and unsociable hours from 11-6 I charge £30. Nanny rates at £30 and unsociable hours at £35
