About Me
Hello, I'm Stacey White
A Childminder Offering Both Funded and Private Childcare
Welcome to my profile, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and the childcare services I offer.
I’m 31 years old and a proud mum to two wonderful girls, Elaina (5) and Bonnie (2). I live with my supportive partner Rueben, and together we’ve built a loving, family-oriented home that I extend to the children in my care.
I hold a degree in Health and Social Care Practice, a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Childcare, and I am fully paediatric first aid trained. I also regularly take part in ongoing training courses and childcare seminars to ensure my knowledge and practice remain current, safe, and of the highest standard.
My career has always naturally led me back to working with children, it’s truly where my heart lies.
Coming from a large, close-knit family, I’ve been surrounded by children my whole life. My mother was a childminder throughout my childhood, and her passion for creating a safe, engaging environment for children inspired my own journey. I value strong family connections, and I strive to build that same sense of trust and warmth with the families I work with.
As a mother, I deeply understand how important it is to feel confident in who you entrust your child to. That’s why I promise to care for your child as I do my own, with compassion, respect, and attentiveness. I aim to create a genuine partnership with each family, where open communication and trust are at the heart of everything we do.
In my setting, children enjoy a wide range of activities designed to support their development across all areas of learning, from sensory and educational play to life skills, arts and crafts, and imaginative exploration. I also love involving the children in everyday activities such as cooking, baking, and Storytime. We take regular trips outdoors to parks, nature trails, and picnics, and with your permission, we’ll also enjoy days out to farms, beaches, soft play areas, and even the zoo!
I offer both funded childcare places (for all eligible age groups, 9 months to 4 years) and private childcare arrangements to suit your needs.
If you're looking for a caring, experienced, and dedicated childcare provider, I’d love to chat further and answer any questions you may have. Feel free to contact me.
Warm regards,
Stacey White
My Experience
My journey in the care industry began at a very young age and has continued to evolve over the years. Caring for others has always come naturally to me, and I’ve had the privilege of working in a wide variety of care roles throughout my life.
As mentioned above, my mother has been a childminder for many years, and still is today. Growing up in that environment gave me a unique insight into what truly makes a great childcare setting. I spent many years assisting her in her provision, where I built strong relationships with both children and their families. Those early experiences were incredibly rewarding and helped shape the values I now carry into my own independent childcare setting.
In addition to my background in childcare, I have worked across various areas of the care sector, including with children, adults, and the elderly. My experience includes:
Domiciliary and in-home care,
Residential and nursing home care,
Mental health and additional needs support,
Care for individuals with disabilities and complex needs,
General nursing care,
Regular childcare for families, including long-term support.
These diverse roles have helped me to develop a deep understanding of compassionate care, patience, communication, and adaptability, all of which are vital qualities I bring into my work with children and families today.
Professionally, I am a qualified Band 4 Level 5 Health and Social Care Assistant Practitioner (BSc). I also hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Early Years (EYFS), and I am Paediatric First Aid trained. I regularly attend additional training courses and seminars to ensure my knowledge stays current and in line with best practices. I’m more than happy to provide references or documentation for my qualifications and previous roles.
All of this experience has only strengthened my commitment to delivering a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment where children can thrive.
My Qualifications
I am passionate about providing high-quality, safe, and developmentally supportive care, and my qualifications reflect my dedication to both childcare and the wider care sector. I regularly attend additional training to keep my knowledge up to date and aligned with best practices.
My qualifications include:
Level 5 Band 4 Health and Social Care Practice (BSc)
Level 3 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) & Teaching
Level 2 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) & Teaching
Paediatric First Aid Certified
BTEC National Diploma in Society, Health and Development – Level 3
BTEC Advanced National Diploma in Health and Social Care – Level 3
GCSE in Childcare Skills
GCSE in Child Development
GCSEs in English and Maths
I am happy to provide certificates or evidence of any of the above upon request. These qualifications, combined with my hands-on experience, enable me to offer a well-rounded, thoughtful, and professional childcare service tailored to each child’s individual needs.
My Availability
I currently have availability and am able to start as soon as needed.
At the moment, I have all-day spaces available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I offer flexible and negotiable daytime hours, including both mornings and afternoons, and am happy to work with you to create a schedule that fits your family's needs.
Please note that I operate as a term-time only setting. This means I am open during school terms and closed during school holidays, ideal for families who follow a school-year routine.
Before any official start, I like to arrange an initial meeting with both the child / children and their parent(s). This allows us to get to know each other in a relaxed, informal setting, which helps ease the settling-in process. It gives your child the chance to begin building a connection with me, while also giving you the opportunity to ask any questions, discuss routines, and feel confident in the care I provide.
I truly believe that building a strong, trusting relationship between myself, the child, and their family is key to a successful childcare experience, and this introduction period helps lay that foundation.

My current rate for private childcare is £6.00 per hour.

There are no additional or hidden fees, everything your child needs throughout the day is included in my hourly rate.
This includes:

Stacey looked after my son from when he was 9 months old until he started at pre school. She treated my son like he was one of her own and he absolutely adored going to her. I am so glad I found her and can't thank her enough.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Watching him grow up into the lovely, sweet and energetic little boy he has become. Has been an absolute privilege! I have adored having him and I am so looking forward to seeing what amazing things he will achieve next!
We honestly couldn’t ask for a better childminder than Stacey. She has been absolutely incredible with our daughter Layla, and we feel so lucky to have found her.
From day one, Stacey has gone above and beyond not just providing care, but creating a loving, fun, and nurturing environment where Layla truly thrives. Every day is filled with thoughtful activities, learning opportunities, outdoor play, and laughter. Stacey puts so much care into everything she does, and it shows in how happy and excited Layla is to go to her house each day.
She keeps us constantly updated with photos and little stories about what they’ve been up to, which gives us so much reassurance and joy. Her communication is brilliant, and she’s always been reliable, flexible, and incredibly supportive.
The bond she has built with Layla is so special it’s clear how much she genuinely cares. We couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with our child, and we’re beyond grateful for the love and effort she puts in daily.
Stacey is more than a childminder she’s an extension of our family, and we recommend her to absolutely everyone. Thank you for everything, Stacey!

Thank you so much for your absolutely lovely review! Layla is such a fantastic little girl, she lights up the setting with her cheeky smile and her lovely little ways. She has become such an important part of the sunbeams family and I couldn’t be any prouder or more grateful to be able to watch her grow and thrive!!
Stacey provided childcare for my two daughters from a young age until school.
Stacey ensured a safe, friendly and fun environment for them, they always came home happy telling me all about the activities, outings and things they have done with their day. I 100% trust her to make the best decision for my children while they were in her care. Thank you very much if I am to ever have anymore children I will be bringing them to attend with her again.
