Choosing a childminder is a minefield; we only want the absolute best for our children and want to be sure that they will be in safe, secure hands. That, for me, is Honey.

Honey is professional, knowledgeable, warm and has an amazing way with children. She looked after our daughter for 4 years and it was so endearing to observe the relationship flourish over the years. Our daughter felt at home in Honey's setting and genuinely felt like part of the extended family.

Honey provided our daughter with full time care and then wrap around care, undertaking nursery drop off and pickups and the transition was seamless. Regardless of the hours our daughter spent within Honey's setting, Honey made the time count with plenty of fun activities, interesting trips, learning, healthy eating and much needed structure.

Honey genuinely cares about the children in her care and often goes that extra mile; during lockdown Honey maintained contact with the parents via an online group, allowing the children to stay in touch, which our daughter cherished. She also arranged a parent workshop about children's dental hygiene and a park meeting, ensuring the government's Covid guidelines were strictly adhered to. Honey basically provided the glue that kept parents and children connected, at a time when there was so much uncertainty around. Moreover, she was under no obligation to do so, which is why I'd say that Honey is first class and I would highly recommend her childcare service.

The best childminder

Honey is the kindest childminder we have ever had the experience of working with. We are both in education and wanted a setting that challenged and engaged our child, who loves being physical and outside. Honey got to know him very well, very quickly and updated us if we were worried.

The food is out of this world and Honey encourages the children to explore a wide range of food, far more than he'd eat at home. She also uses food to help teach and celebrate about other cultures and religions.

Honey goes out of her way to provide the best childcare, in a range of different ways, to trips out, bringing visitors in and teaching the children about day to day experiences. My son has had the best 3 years there and my daughter will start with her soon.

Faultless, professional care

From the very first meeting with Honey, she was professional, honest and clear in the standards she sets. My two boys immediately took to her collection of toys and interacted with Honey from the outset.
Honey offers a nutritious menu and catered for my 2 boys requests when appropriate. I was very happy that most of their homework was being done too.

If you are looking for a home to home setting that allows your child to develop and play freely, then I would recommend Honey. Her professionalism and honesty is what every parent requires when leaving their children in the care of a provider.

Great setting, lovely childminder!

I went to see Honey for my son when I was looking for a full time space. Honey is a lovely childminder and has a great family! Sadly she lives a bit too far away from me and it would be too long a commute every day. If you live close to her, please pay her a visit, your child will no doubt be in great, capable hands!
