About Me
Hi, my name is Rachael and I am an Ofsted registered childminder rated good by ofsted.Offering home from home care in the centre of Ramsey. I live with my husband and daughter who was born in 2015. We also have two cats called Lilly and Mia.
We have lots of indoor and outdoor space, providing a stimulating environment for children to grow and develop. With trips to local parks, duck pond, library, and groups,
I provide cooked meals and snacks catering for the children's dietary needs.
I currently have full and part time spaces.
My Experience
I have 27 years of childcare experience. In 1995 I gained a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing. I started off as a nursery assistant and worked my way up to a senior nursery nurse in various different nurseries. I was also the special educational needs co-ordinator.
In 2009 I completed City and Guilds in Early Years Foundation Stage.
In 2011 I became a sole charge nanny until 2015 when I had my daughter. During this time I looked after a wide age range of children from baby to 8 years old. This included a family with twins and a family of 4 children with ages ranging from 0-7.
On returning back to work after maternity leave I started childminding, completing my childminding course in 2017 and becoming an Ofstead registered childminder.
I attend courses in order to keep my knowledge and skills up to date.

*City Guilds In Early Years Foundation Stage Level 3.
*Current paediatric first aid certificate

* Member of pacey and have full public liability insurance

Our daughter has been with Rachael now for 9/10 months and we couldnt be happier with the care that is given. Freyja started with Rachael when she was 8 months old and has come on so lovely, she is so happy every time we show up at Rachael's. Freyja is always coming home with lovely artwork they have worked on, get beautiful pictures and videos of the fun they have. Very happy with every aspect :)

I am incredibly happy with care that Rachael provides for my daughter. she's caring, friendly and has made sure my little one was happy and settled every time I dropped her off. Our daughter loves it when she has a 'Rachael day'. Rachael provides a large variety of activities and walks. she has a lovely outside space too for children to use. Rachael has been so thoughtful in acknowledging special days like birthdays and holidays for us. she creates fun and educational environment and is attentive to development opportunities and logs these, so I never feel I miss out on important milestones.
Rachael is kind, patient person and fantastic childminder. I am glad we found her!
I very much recommend Rachael to anyone looking for childcare.
