A little about me, I am a South African nanny with over 10 years of childcare experience. I have recently relocated back to the UK after living in Asia for the last seven years. Throughout this time, I was working as an Early Years teacher.
I have a masters degree in marketing and an undergraduate degree in english literature, marketing and management. However, my real passion is Early Childhood Education and I am currently completing my Level 3 qualification, part time.
I love children and I love education. I enjoy helping children achieve and exceed their developmental milestones. I enjoy fostering independence through both guided and independent play and activities. I love reading and enjoy sharing this passion with the children I look after.
I enjoy cooking and baking and being both indoors and outdoors. I believe that as long as you’re suitably dressed, every kind of weather affords us opportunities to play and learn outdoors.
My experience as a nanny includes both contract work and permanent positions where the youngest children I have cared for have been twins of 18 months and the oldest being 16 years. I have experience looking after up to 4 children in a family. Managing their school calendars and activities, dog walking, light housekeeping relating to children, admin duties (dry cleaning, shopping, etc), to name a few.
I have access to my own car and have a full, clean British drivers license.
