About Me
Hi! My name is Erin. I’m 27 and I currently work full time as a Special Educational Needs Teacher at a primary school in Manchester. I am a fully qualified Early Years and Primary school teacher.
I have extensive experience with children with SEND. This includes Autism, ADHD, FASD, SEMH and Global Delay.
I have experience with learning interventions such as attention autism (engagement and attention building), colourful semantics (sentence building), sensory stories, phonics, schema focused learning.
My interests are crafts, messy/sensory activities, reading and music.
My rates are as follows:
Private tutoring: £30 per hour.
Babysitting: £12 per hour.
If you are a good distance from me I charge a fee for travel costs (I don't drive). This will vary on the distance. This only applies to babysitting.
I am happy to help out with cooking ( I hold a level 3 food hygiene and am an experienced cook and baker), cleaning and laundry during my work with you.
*I do NOT charge extra for jobs that run past midnight.*
I am very flexible and am open to last minute bookings - I do not drive so I may need time to get to you.
My Experience
I studied childcare for 2 years at college while working at a nursery part time. I then studied BA (HONS) Primary Education 3-11 with QTS which I graduated from in June 2019. Since then I have been pre school teacher, special education needs and disabilities coordinator (SENCO) and deputy manager at a nursery; before becoming a specialist education teacher (my current post).
In total I have over 10 years childcare experience.
My Qualifications
BA (HONS) Primary Education 3-11 with QTS
Fully qualified Level 3 nursery nurse
Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education
First aid trained 2019
10 GCSE's at A*-C - including health and social care and catering.
My Availability
I am available most evenings (from 6pm) and weekends. I will be able to give some mornings and afternoons but these are only available on weekends.
I have full availability during school holidays.
