Had agreed on a start date, and Laura messages me the day before to tell me that I live too far when she knew where I was located almost 1 month before. Very unprofessional!!

This is unfair, you have failed to mention the real reason I couldn’t commit to the job, a reason I won’t publicly state as it reflects poorly on you & is out of my control. We had also only been in contact for 13 days so I’m not sure where you got a month from.
