Lorna joined our family as maternity nanny when our son was 3 days old for the duration of 10 weeks. She was in sole charge of our son, set up the nursery and established a breastfeeding and sleeping routine that was workable for the entire family. She played a vital role in my quick and full recovery from the Caesarean, as she ensured that I took sufficient rest periods and followed a good diet.

Her extensive knowledge in baby and childcare proved invaluable on a daily basis. We were particularly impressed with Lorna’s flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to different situations.

Lorna has a strong intuition and ability to anticipate what is needed in certain situations, may it be to dissolve the tantrum of a 3-year old at teatime or a bad feed at 2 am in the morning. She was always willing to help out in the home and she is an excellent cook!

Lorna established a warm and caring relationship with every member of the family. She has a great sense of humour and is an easy person to have in the house as she has the ability to make herself invisible when private time is needed.

We have been extremely impressed with Lorna and would recommend her as nanny or maternity nanny without hesitation. She has since worked for us as a proxy parent and we have never had any issues and can be completely at ease when leaving our children in her care.
