My daughter has been with Nicky since she was 7 months old (now nearly 7 years). She absolutely adores the children that come to her and looks after them like they are her own. Lydia would even stay for a sleep over if she could!
Nicky has always shown dedication in her job and in my opinions doesn't see it as a job at all. Her home is very accomodating and is always impeccably clean. Nicky is also very personable so it feels like you are leaving you child with a family member. I had a bad experience with a local nursery and could not imagine leaving my baby with them and Nicky saved me! Lydia was one of the first babies to go to Nicky once she qualified as a childminder and it says it all when she is still there now after all this time.
I would recommend Nicky to anyone looking for a childminder in the area as she has a natural way with them and Lydia loves her like a second mum! Oh and she evens encourages her to eat food that she doesn't like at home!

Our little boy has been going to Nicky for over 2 years. Not one day has he said he does not want to go, and always looks forward to going to Nicky's. Josh is nearing 3 and has developed into a happy sociable little boy, which is credit to Nicky . Nicky always takes the children to playgroups and days out, he is always shattered at the end of the day. Nicky is very passionate about what she does and it is clear she adores the children.
I would not hesitate in recommending Nicki as a childminder !!!!!

My husband and I had complete peace of mind from day 1 with Nicky. Nicky provides a 1st class service which goes beyond the normal expectations of a childminder. She always makes you feel welcome.
Nicky's home is always spotlessly clean and safety is something that you will never have to worry about. My daughter was with Nicky from 6 months old up until she went to school and was always kept well entertained and educated throughout the years with a range of different activities she did with her. I truely believe the input that Nicky put into my daughter helped with her overall development. It's very hard to leave your child and the special little things Nicky does to make this easier really helps, be it a card they have made, a painting or just a photo and text to let you know how the day is going.
The meals that Nicky provided were excellent and my daughter still talks about Nicky's roast chicken dinners. The food choices are healthy and nutrious.
I can not recommend the service that Nicky provides more highly and would not hesitate in recommending her to anyone considering a clhildminder.

My Daughter has been going to Nicky for over a year now, we are so pleased with her progress.
I was dreading going back to work and leaving my Daughter with someone, but after meeting Nicky for the first time my mind was put at rest. Her home is very clean and tidy all the children in her care are well behaved and Nicky is very organised. She provides healthy meals for the children every day and takes them out to different places, weather permitting. If not she provides enjoyable activities in her home, educational and fun. She always puts the childrens needs first and I never have to worry about our Daughter.
She is very passionate about her job this is one of the reasons why we picked her. Nicky is a credit to Child Minding, we class her as a friend as well as our Daughters Child Minder as she is very easy to get a long with and she is only too happy to give us advice when we need it.
She also has a lovely family who are always so friendly and give you a warm welcome whenever we see them.

My daughter goes to Nicky 3 days a week and loves going, gets excited every time we pull up to the house . She helped me get my little girl into a propa routine, she provides healthy food and snack always taking the kids to play groups, ball Pitts etc . I found it very hard to leave her when first returning to work ( which most parents would) and Nicky put my mind at ease. On my first Easter and mothers day as a parent I come home to home made cards made with Nicky , i would happily recommend Nicky to any1 she is brilliant .
Her house is always clean and there a great play area for kids

My son aged 10 goes to Nicky's before and after school. He always enjoys his time there, and feels really comfortable and at home. Nicky is a great childminder, she is flexible and you can tell she enjoys her job. She will also say if she thinks there are any problems at school or with friends, allowing me to sort them out. Overall, Nicky is excellent.

My daught has beeninthe care of Nicky Burns since May 2011 and i have no complaints what so ever!! My daughter loves going there and felt that comfortable around nicky that she walked straight in on her first day, no problems - didnt even remember to say goodbye to me she was the interested in going in and playing. Nicky is very good at putting children at ease and I would recommend her to anyone. She covers a number of activities with the children, ball pitts, activity days, playgroups, learning - ensuring the children have a nice and enjoyable time whilst in her care. I cannot fault the care my daughter has received, and as a very forward 3 year old -- she would tell you this herslef!! excellent meals and snacks are provided daily also. for flawless care, and piece of mind, Nicky Burns is a great choice!!
