About Me
Hello everyone,
My name is Becky, and I’m an OFSTED-registered childminder based in England with over 16 years of experience working with children from birth to 13 years old. I’m also a parent myself and work full-time as a childminder.
I believe that children learn best through play and having fun—and that’s exactly the kind of environment I aim to create every day. I provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home setting with a dedicated playroom and garden area specially adapted for little ones.
Since 2008, I’ve studied child development and education, and began working professionally with children in 2009. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in nurseries, schools, and through babysitting. I’m passionate about continuing professional development and regularly attend courses to stay up to date with current legislation and best practices.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and keeping my skills fresh through training.

My Experience
I have a wide range of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to early teens. Here's a bit more about my journey:
International Experience: I spent a month in Spain (Jerez and Chiclana) caring for an 8-month-old baby girl while her parents were working.
Babysitting: I've provided care for children aged from just 4 weeks old up to 12 years, including a regular babysitting role for three children (ages 9, 8, and 7 months) before they relocated.
Early Years Placements: I completed 3 years of placement work in various local nurseries and schools, gaining valuable hands-on experience with children aged birth to 4 years. These settings included:

Nannying: I worked as a full-time nanny for two children (ages 2 and 4) over a period of 2 years.

I only have praise for Becky at Bell Avenue childcare!! My 4 year old daughter who is very quiet and shy has surprised me at how quickly she has settled in with Becky, she looks forward to going and runs off as soon as we arrive, she is always talking about the things they do together and is very happy with me leaving her. The setting is perfect and safe and I feel 100% comfortable with leaving her in Becky's care
