About Me
Hello there. My name is Louise and I am 32 years old living in the Gateshead area. I currently work full time as a teaching assistant in a local primary school, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. I am hoping to gain some addtional work outside of my full time employment. I am a qualified Level 3 teaching assistant and childcare practitioner. Although I have worked as a teaching assistant for the past 9 years, I have worked with children since leaving school, with my background starting in nurseries and day cares etc.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience and feel I would love to help and support children with their learning and study/homework if they need it. Within my current role, I quite often cover classes and teach and run small intervention groups. I absolutely adore my role, as I thrive within this sort of environment and believe there is no better feeling of pride than when a child just gets it and you see that understanding start to show through.
I am available for babysitting roles on both weeknights and weekends and also school holidays. I am also available for tutoring and help and support with things such as primary aged English, Maths, Reading and Handwriting.
I am extremely professional. efficient, keen and passionate about what I do. I put in 100 percent effort with every single child I work with and love to build that strong proffesional relationship with both my children and their families.
With currently working in a primary school, I am extremely lucky to have the flexibility of all school holidays as well as weekends and evenings during the week.
My Experience
I currently work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant within a primary school. I have done this role for the past 9 years and absolutely love my job! I am a highly professional and hard working individual who loves to help every child try and reach their full potential.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience, working with children from the ages of birth to 18 years old. I have worked with children of all ages for the past 16 years! I would love to be given the chance to showcase my skills and experience and help your children to achieve their full potential in terms of learning and tutoring. I am also available for babysitting duties.
I also hold my first aid qualification and hold a current DBS check!
My Qualifications
I currently hold a Level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce. I also hold my HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) qualification as well as recently qualifying as a Child and Young Person Counsellor with my Level 3 , qualifying around 2 years ago!
My Availability
My availability at the moment is currently weeknight evenings and weekends. I am very lucky to have school holidays as well where I can work right through if necessary. My availability can be adjusted when there is a school holiday coming up, this can be discussed separately. For example the 6 weeks holidays in Summer I will have lots of availability but would be happy to discuss this nearer to the time.

- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
£15-£20 per hour. May be able to negotiate.
