About Me
We are a busy family of four (plus an elderly cat and very friendly cockapoo!). We have a 9 year old daughter and an 11 year old son. My husband and I both work full time so need help with the kids after school. Our 11 year old has some additional needs as he is autistic and has ADHD so is a little less independent than some other secondary school children. Their after school activities include homework and clubs and we need someone to help out with these as well as to ensure they are taking part in other activities (instead of just watching TV whilst we are working upstairs!). The kids are very energetic and friendly and they love meeting new people. Our dog is also rather energetic too and ideally our nanny would walk him locally with the kids on some of the days. Our current after school nanny is sadly leaving us after 4 years as she is going traveling so we are looking for a replacement to start in January 2024.
My Requirements
We are looking for an after school nanny on Tues, Weds and Thurs from January 2024. This will involve collecting our daughter from school a couple of minutes walk from our house and looking after them both until 6.30pm - helping with homework, taking them to local swimming lessons and doing other activities together. Ideally we'd like someone who is flexible to stay later some of the time if we need to work late. It would be great to find someone who has a bit of experience with kids who are autistic and / or have ADHD - but this is not essential.
