I am a highly experienced child carer as well as a fellow parent.
I love creating safe, and enjoyable routines to support young people as they grow, learn and develop and I have an excellent understanding of the early years foundation stage curriculum. I tend to make good use of local facilities and groups and I especially enjoy cooking, messy play and playing make believe games with the children I care for. I strive to give the children in my care a good balance between learning and fun. My Experience
I have over twenty years of experience working with children in general, with ten years of that time spent doing sole charge care as an au pair/mothers help, registered nanny and stay at home mum. I have worked with multiples (nanny share) and have 3 years experience working with teenagers with challenging behaviour. When parents have been away travelling for work I have been happy to do overnight care. I have worked mainly with young children aged 5 months - 5 years and teenagers aged between 11 and 16. I do however have newborn experience and am confident in my ability to care for children of other age groups. I have worked in nurseries and with families who have had four or more children and feel that I am well able to manage multiple children as well as my own children.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ in childcare and education.
A safeguarding children and young people certification
As well as paediatric first aid.
My Availability
Available during school hours and can do more hours in the holidays.

- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
