About Me

My Name is Michelle and I am registered childminder with Ofsted, I have been childminding since 2012, I live in a quiet residential area of Overton, Hampshire, with my two teenage daughters and our sweet natured dog Bella. I have an assistant, Kelly, who works alongside me she has 3 children who attend the local schools. Kelly gained her qualification whilst working at one of the local Pre-schools where she became a Key Person.

We have a ground floor playroom and a large garden where we aim to provide a professional service of childcare excellence that provides a range of safe and stimulating services to enhance educational, personal and social development within each child we work with. We offer a structured, caring and loving home environment with a wide range of activities and regular outings. We are both friendly, easy going people who are sociable. We spend time encouraging children to follow their interested pursuits in life and help them in achieving their goals. We are both very active people who enjoy walking and attending groups as we both believe that children learn best through play, both imagery and physical especially by having lots of emotional support. We also do pre-school, playgroup and school drop off and collections within the village.

As I am a mother who used to go out to work I can relate to the needs of a working parent and the child/children. With this experience behind me I aim to offer a high quality childcare which is rich in learning and development through the fun of everyday play whilst in a happy, friendly, safe family home.

We will do our utmost to make the transition from parent to carer go as smoothly as possible and will keep a confidential individual daily log of the children with in our care which will be shared with the child’s parents at the end of each session so parents are kept very much involved in their child’s daily activities as we feel this is extremely important.
